The
Master of Ceremonies Board President Dave Marcus, thanked co-chairs
Kathy Bennett and Gerry Mansveld. Mr. Marcus also acknowledged the hard
work of Bev Robichaud, Peggy Marcus, Carol Ripley, Karen Moulton, and
Ina Lavigueur who assisted on the committee. Kathy Bennett stated,
“Many of the participants consider this event almost like a reunion
because so many of the golfers return year after year to take part”.
She also noted that, while it’s a great opportunity for golfers and
business associates to re-connect and have a pleasurable day, it also
affords everyone a chance to be part of the common goal of raising money
for kids.
The
tournament winner was Du-Bo Powder Coatings Inc., of Kingston. The Du-Bo
foursome of John Thornton, Mark Jackson, Mark Johnston, and Bruce Erler
walked away with the grand prize. Additional prizes were awarded to the
most Honest Team of Golfers from Rondeau Electric. Representing Rondeau
