Community Living Upper Ottawa Valley will assist people supported to:

Community Living Upper Ottawa Valley as an organization at all

Goals to Accomplish in the
Next Twelve Months

Develop through
Ministry of Community and Social Services initiatives residential
services in two communities (without such services) for six people
from Rideau Regional and two people from the community waiting list.

Explore Home Ownership
Programs for people supported and prepare a viability report for the
Board of Directors by October 31, 2006
-
Enter into a three
year funding arrangement with the Speakers Bureau to sponsor
activities identified in their Strategic Plan in return for
assistance with Community Living's training, quality enhancement and
promotional activities.
-
To hold a membership
meeting during the fall of 2006 to provide information and a social
opportunity. Complete an association membership drive and
increase membership by 25%. To develop an annual membership
strategy by January 1, 2007 and implement in 2007-08 operating year.
Explore with younger parents and devise a strategy for their
membership in the association.

To prepare by June 30,
2006 a detailed report of paid employ for people at April 1, 2006.
To increase the number of inclusive employers at April 1, 2006 by
five before March 31, 2007.

To expand by September
30, 2006, the format of the InTouch newsletter and Community Living
Website to include a self-advocate and upcoming events sections.
To make a contribution to local newspapers at least 10 times per
year.

To review and adjust
staff compensation by September 30, 2006.

Community Living will
work in partnership with Self-advocates to hold an open meeting for
the Association's membership.
-
Improve quality of
services and achieve accreditation through Quality Measures.
-
Community Living will
study needs in the community, develop and implement a plan with
others to improve the quality of life in our community by March 31,
2007.
