Becoming a member of CLUOV
provides you the opportunity to be informed and involved, the right
to vote at Annual and General Meetings and gives you the ability to
influence the quality of programs offered in support of people in
Renfrew County who have developmental disabilities. Members also
receive a copy of our quarterly newsletter, “In Touch”, published

There are five classes of
Membership:

1. Annual
Membership (Voting)

Cost:
$5.00/Person |
|
Annual memberships
shall be open to any person who resides in Renfrew County and
who supports the purposes and objects of the Association and
who pays an annual membership due, except persons employed by
the Association or other local Associations, Regional
Councils, provincial or national Associations with which it is
affiliated. |

2. Life Membership (Voting) |
Cost:
$100.00/Person |
|
A Life Membership
shall be open to any person who resides in Renfrew County and
who supports the purposes and objects of the Association and
who pays a life membership due, except persons employed by the
Association. A Life Membership shall be valid as of the date
of purchase and for all future membership years. Honourary
Life Membership may be conferred by the Board on any person
who has made an outstanding contribution to the Association or
to persons with developmental disabilities. |

3. Associate Membership (Non-Voting) |
Cost:
$5.00/Person |

An Associate
Membership shall be open to any person or organization that
supports the purposes and objects of the Association and pays
an associate membership due. An Association Member shall not
be entitled to vote. |

4.
Household Membership (Voting) |
Cost:
$15.00/Household |
|
A Household
Membership shall be open to any person who resides in Renfrew
County and who supports the purposes and objects of the
Association and who pay a household membership fee, except
persons employed by the Association. This membership covers a
group of people living under the same roof to purchase a group
rate membership and holds full voting privileges. |

5.
Corporate
Membership (Non-Voting) |
Cost:
$50.00/Corporation |

A Corporate
Membership is open to any company or organization who supports
the purpose and objects of the Association and who pays a
corporate membership fee. There shall be no voting
privileges. |
The affairs of the
Association shall be managed by a Board, which consists of sixteen
(16) elected directors and one (1) ex-officio director. The Past
President shall be an ex-officio director of the Association.
Each year 5 (five)
members are re-elected. Members of the Association can run for one
of the positions. Vacancies may occur during the course of the
year. People interested in becoming a Board Member can contact the
office. The Board approves vacancies. |
