Community Living Ontario's request for meeting with Ombudsman granted
Community Living Ontario, speaking on behalf of people who have an intellectual disability and their families and Community Living associations across Ontario, welcomes the investigation into Ontario’s services for adults with developmental disabilities in crisis. We have now been granted an opportunity to meet with the Ombudsman regarding this investigation.
We encourage anyone who has information relevant to the investigation to contact the Ombudsman at 1-800-263-1830, or file an online complaint form at www.ombudsman.on.ca/Make-a-Complaint.aspx or email info@ombudsman.on.ca.

July 1, 2012 Mac’s Convenience,
our next door neighbours, held a community BBQ with all funds raised being donated to Community Living. We send out a giant THANK YOU to all the staff at Mac’s who worked hard barbequing, and serving up customers who were out enjoying Canada Day festivities. Mac’s Convenience raised $232.00.

16th Annual Golf Tournament August 17, 2012
Our annual golf tournament is being held on August 17th at the beautiful Oaks of Cobden with a shotgun start promptly at 1:00 pm. This includes 18 holes of golf, cart rental, dinner, specialty hole & raffle prizes for $80.00 per person.
