Community Living To Attend Inclusion Conference

Community Living Upper Ottawa Valley Participating In Annual Conference

Building inclusive communities for people with intellectual disabilities requires the entire community to participate. From Presence to Citizenship: the third annual Learning Exchange is a conference that brings together people involved in the developmental services sector to support their initiatives with new thought leadership and shared best practices. This year's theme is: People Driving Change.

For the past two years, approximately 300 developmental services executive directors, managers and leaders with an interest in the advancement of building inclusive organizations attend the group’s annual learning exchange.  This annual event features nationally and internationally recognized speakers and breakout sessions that feature champions of transformation.

This year's key speakers will be led by Paul Born of Tamarack Institute who will deliver the opening keynote entitled, "People Driving Change Together." Other speakers include Peter Block, Eric Goll,  Susan Stewart and Tanya Neumeyer.
