CLUOV Hosts Second Women's Breakfast in Honour of International Women's Day
After a successful inaugural women's breakfast in 2018, Community Living Upper Ottawa Valley is hosting their second women's breakfast in honour of International Women's Day.
This year's guest speaker will be Julie Keon. Julie Keon has been a social worker, doula, officiant, death care educator, author and mother to a medically fragile child. Julie shares her story along with the challenges and triumphs that led her to be one of the Ottawa Valley’s most impressive women.
The morning will include a presentation from the CLUOV Speakers Bureau and BEE Successful, an employment service for people with intellectual disabilities in our community.
Tickets are $15 and if you purchase one, you can bring a friend for free! Breakfast will be held at Janna & Kerry's Over Easy Bar and Grill at 27 Pembroke Street West, Pembroke.
