Fall Frozen Meals Fundraiser

A Partnership For Healthy Food

Community Living Upper Ottawa Valley (CLUOV) s partnering with Griffith Farm & Market of Killaloe for a first-ever frozen meals fundraiser. Building on the success of their Box of Possibilities lunch program, Community Living felt the frozen meals option was fitting for the fall season.

The meals are homemade by Griffith Farm & Market, a third-generation farm in the Ottawa Valley. Griffith Farm & Market is a regular vendor at several farmers' markets across the region and is providing frozen meals through seniors' organizations throughout Renfrew County.

The meals available for purchase include: variety of soups, maple squash pie, meatloaf, beef stew, BBQ meatballs, spaghetti pie, Salisbury steak, meatballs, lasagna rolls, BBQ pulled chicken, chicken Alfredo, macaroni and cheese, smoked ham, shepherd's pie, chicken pie, homestead chili, cabbage rolls, pork pie and maple baked beans. All meals are individually prepared and cost $7.00. The meals can be reheated in the microwave or oven.

Anyone is welcome to participate in the fundraiser. Meals must be ordered by November 6 at Noon. Orders can be picked up at the CLUOV office on November 13 from 11:30am-1:00pm or 4:30pm-6:00pm.
