A Movie About Community Seemed Appropriate
On May 5, 2018, people gathered at Troyes Cinema in Petawawa to enjoy a "random act of kindness" by Community Living. The movie everyone saw for free was "Wonder." Community Living gave out 295 tickets as part of the "random act."
As part of the 60th anniversary, Community Living staff and individuals connected to the agency are attempting to pull off 60 random acts of kindness over the spring, summer and fall months. The complimentary movie matinee was a highlight of that campaign.
The matinee show also played the Community Living video on the big screen, a highlight for the agency!
