We are currently recruiting for an Administrative Assistant. The Administrative Assistant is responsible for providing a full range of administrative support to management, staff and volunteers. The areas of responsibility include: administrative office support, reception and bookkeeping.
Qualifications
- Relevant post-secondary education
- Minimum of three to five years of experience in an office administration position
- Full proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Knowledge of Simply Accounting
- Excellent organizational skills, ability to handle multiple assignments and prioritize activities in a fast paced organization
- Superior verbal and written communication skills
- Clear criminal record check and vulnerable sector clearance
- Strong diplomacy and negotiation skills and ability to work as an effective team member
- A self-starter with the ability to take initiative from concept through to implementation
- Adept at learning new technology
- Creativity, analytical skills, and strong attention to detail
- French language fluency would be an asset
- Valid driver’s license and a vehicle
