We are currently recruiting for an Administrative Assistant. The Administrative Assistant is responsible for providing a full range of administrative support to management, staff and volunteers. The areas of responsibility include: administrative office support, reception and bookkeeping.

Qualifications

  • Relevant post-secondary education
  • Minimum of three to five years of experience in an office administration position
  • Full proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Knowledge of Simply Accounting
  • Excellent organizational skills, ability to handle multiple assignments and prioritize activities in a fast paced organization
  • Superior verbal and written communication skills
  • Clear criminal record check and vulnerable sector clearance
  • Strong diplomacy and negotiation skills and ability to work as an effective team member
  • A self-starter with the ability to take initiative from concept through to implementation
  • Adept at learning new technology
  • Creativity, analytical skills, and strong attention to detail
  • French language fluency would be an asset
  • Valid driver’s license and a vehicle
