Viscardis To Headline AGM
Community Living Upper Ottawa Valley has confirmed that Katharine Viscardis will be their guest speaker at their annual general meeting. Viscardis is a PhD Candidate in the Canadian Studies program at Trent University. She witnessed the horrors of child institutionalization while volunteering in a Bulgarian orphanage in 2010. For her dissertation, Katharine chose the legacy of Canada's first institution designed for children and adults with disabilities, the Huronia Regional Centre. Download AGM Poster. Read more.

The Peanut Butter Falcon Movie - October 8th
Community Living is hosting a movie night at Skylight Drive-In on October 8th at 7:00pm. The movie is The Peanut Butter Falcon. For $10, pack a car and come to the Drive-In at 199 Forest Lea Road. Tickets can be purchased in advance at the CLUOV office or at the gate. Proceeds to the CLUOV Outcomes Fund. Download Poster.

Box of Possibilities: Highest Ever Support!
The Box of Possibilities fundraiser contributes to the Community Living Upper Ottawa Valley's Outcomes Fund which provides opportunities for people with intellectual disabilities that they would otherwise not be able to enjoy for financial reasons. This year's event saw 535 lunches purchased - the most in our six-year history! Read more here.

Passport Funding Program
Passport helps adults with a developmental disability to participate in their communities. It also helps caregivers of an adult with a developmental disability take a break from their caregiving responsibilities.

Supports & Services
Community Living offers supports and services that include LifeShare, Group Living, Community Options, Supported Independent Living and Community Respite.
