418 Lunches Delivered This Year During 5th Annual Fundraiser
418 people had lunch in support of Community Living Upper Ottawa Valley on April 26th.
Volunteers, staff and people supported by Community Living collaborated for a joint effort to make and deliver lunches around the Upper Ottawa Valley. Many thanks to the businesses and organization that supported this annual fundraiser, now in it's 5th year.
As a special addition to this event, lunches were delivered to The Grind as part of Community Living's 60th Anniversary "Random Acts of Kindness" initiative.
Proceeds from this year's lunch fundraiser will go towards the Petawawa Housing initiative. This new build of residences has included two units to be rented to individuals with intellectual disabilities as part of their efforts to assist us in building inclusive communities.
