Renfrew County's Community Living Agencies Meet With Minister
Community Living Upper Ottawa Valley, Community Living Renfrew County South and the Madawaska Valley Association for Community Living met with the Honourable John Yakabuski, MPP Renfrew-Nipissing-Pembroke in February.
Collectively, the three Community Living agencies employ 300 people and have a combined budget of more than $17 million. With changes being implemented regularly at the provincial level, the local agencies provided an overview of how developmental services are delivered locally. The agencies also brought forward how the sector has not been able to secure an increase of funds for more than a decade, despite the rising costs of providing the services.
