We are currently recruiting for a Supervisor. This is a permanent, full-time position.
This position involves leading and directing a team of staff providing individualized supports and services to individuals who have intellectual disabilities and actively participating in a progressive management team responsible for the overall operation of Community Living Upper Ottawa Valley. You would be responsible to utilize and foster personal outcome measures and to assist your team in the development of core competencies.
Qualifications
- Completion of a relevant degree or diploma in the social services or human services sector, preferably relating to people with disabilities
- Minimum of 2 years’ demonstrated effective supervision in a human service agency preferably in a unionized environment
- Demonstrated leadership, organizational and operational skills
- Staff scheduling experience including the use of scheduling software
- Finance and budget management experience
- Strong familiarity with quality assurance measures and personal outcome measures
- Excellent oral, written and analytical skills
- Proficiency in English is required; proficiency in French is preferred
- Commitment to individualized approaches to service delivery and accountability
- Commitment to Community Living’s goals and vision
- Experience with core competencies
- Certification in CPR and First Aid
- Ability to work flexible shift hours including weekends and evenings
- Valid driver's licence and access to a reliable vehicle
Additional Information
The salary range for this position is $48,200-58,000. In addition, we offer a generous benefits package (OMERS pension plan, dental, health, etc.)
